They booked a 3-day real estate tour in November to visit high-end listings in Guayaquil, meet with a lawyer and banker as well as see other places like; local shopping centers, churches, public transportation, etc.
Upon visiting Guayaquil and experiencing its climate, layout, personality, etc. Hope and Toby realized Guayaquil wasn't a good fit for them. After thinking it over for a night, they asked us if we could change the tour and ride out to Cuenca early the next morning.
We knew this was going to be a serious challenge considering the short-notice and the amount of additional work necessary for such a sizeable change.

Needless to say we found a way to work something out with Toby and Hope and got them to Cuenca. We looked at a variety of listings including; fully-furnished condos as well as quaint hillside homes.
